Have bike, will ride

Those of you who’ve known me for some time, likely know my longtime love of motorcycles—dirtbikes/motocross as a kid, with a number of street bikes to follow through the years, much to my parents disapproval! Moving to NY in the 90s meant selling my motorcycle and thus began a long pause on riding.
 
Fast forward to 2023, that hiatus ended when a new relationship renewed my appreciation for all things moto, and I bought my next motorcycle! Together, Nicole and I have been on some great trips along the coast and around The Bay. I’ve also been invited to join her on many professional moto events around the country, where I met and rode with amazing people in the community, (albeit much safer - no more shorts and flip-flops!)
 
Inspired by these trips, I’ve decided to participate in my first Distinguished Gentlemans Ride

I'm Riding for Men's Health in The Distinguished Gentleman's Ride

Tuesday 30th Apr 2024 On Sunday the 19th of May 2024, I'm riding in The Distinguished Gentleman's Ride with fellow men and women across the globe to raise funds and awareness for prostate cancer and men's mental health on behalf of Movember. Men die on average 6 years earlier than women and for largely preventable reasons. The number of men that are suffering is growing, and we need to do something about that. So, before I press my tweed and polish my boots, I'm asking you to join me in raising funds and awareness for these causes by donating what you can for this meaningful cause and to help the men we love, live happier and healthier lives.
